About Indigo

and

Kim Yarbrough, Owner and

Yoga & Art Teacher

In 2020, Kim saw a need in the community for an inclusive, diverse and welcoming creative space for EVERY body.  She decided to bring Indigo Studio to Moultrie.  Indigo combines over 20 years of Kim's experiences, education, and talents into one studio for EVERY body to enjoy.  Kim holds degrees in art and special education and is a certified yoga teacher at the 200 YTT level.

She has been painting all of her life and has taught art and special education in public as well as private schools. Kim continues to paint and enter exhibitions as well as paint commissioned pieces and murals.  Some of Kim's murals can be seen in the breezeway in Downtown Moultrie.

Kim has been practicing yoga for 5 years and is certified in Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma Informed Yoga, and Yoga Nidra (meditation for sleep).

Because Kim has such diverse experiences and education, she is able to offer classes to children and adults with disabilities of various types, including autism, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, and physical disabilities.  Kim also offers art and yoga for individuals with anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Indigo offers a relaxed, creative environment for children and adults.  Join us at Indigo for yoga, art, a gallery walk thru, local artwork, private yoga and art parties, special weekend retreats, and anything you can dream up for this eclectic and inviting space.  Kim has an open mind and is willing to create classes to suit your needs.
